A few minutes later the doctor comes back, rolling in a big white board, and immediately puts your name and the number “50” at the top. Then proceeds to write a long, long list of stuff all of which seem to end in the letters “oscopy”. So there you sit, half-naked, wondering what on earth is going on, and this doctor, who up until this point in time you’d always liked, starts explaining to you what those words on the white board mean, starting with “colonoscopy”. Now you don’t care that your gown is gaping open and you’re sitting there half-naked and the doctor couldn’t get the exam room door closed since the white board is too big to allow it, because you’re too stunned picturing some kind of “scope” with a long neck being stuck up you—um, where exactly is that going?? Whoa baby! This is a lot different than that GYN exam!

Fantastic, Wonderful fun read - I would recommend this book to anyone, especially a boomer woman! So many things you know but when written down on the screen in a funny and realistic, like real life manner it just clicks. I sent it on to my daughters for their lives to realize how many things we all experience.
I didn't even read half of this book. Thought it was a waste of my time. I like something with substance. Something that maybe would make a good movie. Not recommending this book at all! Very shallow!
