Cammie and Dalton have spent the last 10 years without any contact and are hoping to see each other at their 10 year reunion. Through flashbacks we are given glimpses as to what their relationship was like and how it all went wrong. It was a cute book and very sweet. I did have questions that never really got answered though and that bothered me. Both of them claimed to have loved each other for the last 10 years but neither of them contacted the other one. Dalton knew about Cammie's life but never made the effort to contact her. Cammie admitted to trying to find out about Dalton but was unable to find him on social media sites. That was a bit much for me seeing as though they both had the ability to find and contact each other if they really wanted to. If they both really loved each other, it would seem to me that they would not have waited 10 years to act on it. Cammie does finally come to grips that she still needed to grieve the loss of her father and not let all of those pent up emotions run her life. The ending was sweet and gave a good glimpse into what they both wanted from their relationship.Product details

I thought I was going to love this book. I loved the authors The Game series. It is one of my all time favorites. But this book was just not as good. Maybe my expectations were too high because I can't think of anything I severely disliked about it, but I wouldn't say I loved it either. The characters were likable and I enjoyed the storyline. I will note it was a bit unbelievable and exaggerated at times though, which could be why I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would have. All in all, I was slightly disappointed by the end of it.
I absolutely loved 10 Years Later. Dalton and Cammie were just precious. I can only imagine what their life would have been like without the misunderstanding
I don't know what took me so long to read this book but I'm so glad I did! I love a second chance romance and this one did not disappoint...another wonderful love story!
I really wanted to like this book, because the thought of second chance love has always pulled at my heart strings. But there was just something about this book that didn't do it for me. That is not to say that it wasn't good, but it did not blow me away. I think what made me shake my head in confusion throughout the whole story was the fact that the two main characters were still so in love with each other, after 10 years, and they thought about each other all the time, yet it took the 10 year high school reunion to reunite them? Now I get that Cammie tried to find Dalton on social media, but he didn't reach out to Cammie. He knew where she was and what she was doing, so why wait 10 years?? And then when they finally do see each other, they do talk things through some, but they are back together so fast, I think I got whiplash. No. I don't buy that. You have to work for a relationship. Especially when there are unresolved issues and so much time has past. You have to get to know each other again. It just happened too fast for me. But it was a cute story and a quick read. And I will read more from this author in the future.
Alternating POV between Dalton and Cammie. Story of cops, lack of communication, and first love.
The writing was good. There was no typos.
The plot was a 4 out of 5. The build up at the beginning was good.. but then the secret was... hmm...

This was a sweet story between two high school sweethearts who were always attracted to each other but lacked the maturity and words to express themselves. Now it’s been 10 years since they’ve seen each other and it’s time for their schools 10-year reunion. Both Cammie and Dalton are hoping the other will be at the reunion.
I enjoyed the story although I felt Cammie was a bit immature and is likely the reason these two were apart longer then necessary.
I really wanted to love this book being a fan of second chance love stories, my problem was we didn't get enough of them as a couple, we aren't given enough information except dribs and drabs through flashbacks of how they were ten years ago, then he comes over for dinner and it's what a done deal? Then cue the misunderstanding and then the book is pretty much over, and from my understanding this was a standalone but I feel like the book ended right where it was just getting started and we don't know what a relationship between them would look like, what do they have in common, do they both want kids,what happens when his assignment is over and he goes back to the east coast? The h even says that they have a long way to go and she has no idea what the future Holds only that at the next reunion 10yrs from now she's willing to bet they come as husband and wife, I loved this story but it felt like an editor got a hold of it and chopped it, when all of the people I talked to agreed that we would've loved more, maybe a novella down the line??
